Mattias Bergström

Mattias Bergström is a serial technology entrepreneur, inventor and adviser to governments and major international companies.

He has founded and built several technology ventures, developed Internet and distributed-computing technologies, and holds more than one hundred patent claims across networking and sustainability technology.

Mattias is a founder, Chairman and Lead Product Architect at Internet of Everything Corp, where he works on resilient infrastructure for large-scale Internet of Things systems, smart cities and Industry 4.0.

His work combines peer-to-peer networking, artificial intelligence, blockchain and distributed systems to create digital infrastructure that is harder to disrupt, compromise or extort.

He also teaches artificial intelligence, entrepreneurship and product development through organizations including Hyper Island and EWOR.

Three decades building technology and companies.

Mattias began his career in Stockholm before moving to Silicon Valley, where his first venture developed digital television technology and completed a public listing.

During more than twenty-five years of designing networked systems, he has developed Internet protocols, peer-to-peer technologies and large-scale digital platforms.

In 2006, he developed and deployed Voddler, a peer-to-peer video-delivery platform created before large-scale Internet streaming became mainstream.

He has founded and co-founded six startups and worked as CEO, CTO, inventor, product architect and technical adviser.

His patent work includes communications, networking, sustainability, wind-energy and agricultural technologies.

Mattias lives in the Canary Islands, Spain, while maintaining professional connections across Europe and the United States.
